ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ State volunteers serve home-cooked meals to ºìÐÓÊÓÆµway residents.

ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ State Volunteers Impact the Lives of Others Beyond Campus 

Every other Tuesday, student volunteers from the Campus Kitchen at ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ prepare dinner for the residents of the ºìÐÓÊÓÆµway Apartment Complex, a government-subsidized housing complex on East Summit Street in ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ. At 5 p.m. residents gather in the dining hall and volunteers serve the meal which is prepared from food donated by Trader Joe’s.

Throughout her time at ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ, Ya'el Courtney completed a Senior Honors Thesis/Project, authored several published peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at several national and international conferences. As she continues her education at Harvard University, she intends to conduct a significant amount of research focusing on psychiatric diseases.
