More ºìÐÓÊÓƵ This Program

ºìÐÓÊÓƵ’s Computer Technology Endorsement Preparation program provides targeted education in computer technology education. This program offers career benefits for students looking to specialize in computer technology education.

This endorsement must be added to an existing teaching license and cannot be obtained independently as a separate licensure. You may work toward both a master’s degree and the endorsement by choosing the Computer Technology Endorsement Preparation concentration in the degree. If you already have a master’s degree in education or another appropriate field, you may be able to earn the endorsement with a 15 credit-hour program (see below).

Master's Degree with Computer/Technology Endorsement

The master’s degree in Educational Technology with the Computer/Technology Endorsement is earned by pursuing the master’s degree with the Computer Technology Endorsement Preparation Concentration and gaining the appropriate experience in the Practicum. Be sure to discuss the program with your advisor and fill out the program of study to include the right courses.

Computer Technology Endorsement-Only Program

If you already have both teaching certification and a master’s degree in education or another appropriate field (discuss this with the program coordinator), you can add the Computer/Technology Endorsement by taking a smaller number of courses (15 credit hours), including a practicum and portfolio. Apply as a non-degree student and contact the program coordinator if you have any questions.
