ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ State Again Named One of the Nation’s Most LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges and Universities by Campus Pride

Campus Pride has released its 2021 Best of the Best LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges and Universities list, and for the second time in two years, ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ has landed on it. ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ State is the only Ohio public university to make the 2021 list, and it again is the only school in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) to receive this recognition.

The ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ alumni family grew by nearly 1,300 new graduates as the university held its summer commencement. The accomplishments of the Summer Class of 2021 were recognized with in-person, outdoor commencement ceremonies and a virtual commencement ceremony for all colleges and degrees on Aug. 21.

Five ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ graduates will compete at the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympics over the coming weeks, breaking the school’s previous record of four Olympians at the Munich Games in 1972.
