Dance '12: Winterplay Features Diverse Program by ºìÐÓÊÓƵ State Dance Faculty, Nov. 30-Dec. 2

The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ School of Theatre and Dance will present an evening of choreography created by dance faculty members on Nov. 30-Dec. 2. "Dance '12: Winterplay" will be presented on Friday, Nov. 30, and Saturday, Dec. 1, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 2, at 2 p.m. in E. Turner Stump Theatre in the Music and Speech Building at 1325 Theatre Drive. Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for ºìÐÓÊÓƵ State faculty, staff and alumni, $12 for seniors, $8 for students under 18 years of age or with college ID. Tickets are free for all full-time, ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Campus undergraduate students.

Golden Flashes Now Motown Bound

The ºìÐÓÊÓƵ State Golden Flashes finished the regular season on a roll, winning their 10th straight game with a 28-6 victory over Ohio University Friday at Dix Stadium. With a best-ever 11-1 record (8-0 in conference play), ºìÐÓÊÓƵ State moves on to play Northern Illinois in the Mid-American Conference Championship game Nov. 30 at Ford Field in Detroit, MI.

In observance of Veterans Day, ºìÐÓÊÓƵ will be closed Nov. 11 and will reopen Nov. 12.

  • The University Library will be open until 10 p.m. with .
  • The Student Recreation and Wellness Center will have adjusted hours â€“ 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Statewide Tornado Drill to Be Conducted Wednesday, March 18

Ohio is conducting a statewide tornado drill at 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18. ºìÐÓÊÓƵ will be participating in this test.

ºìÐÓÊÓƵ State Remembers May 4, 1970, With 56th Commemoration

This year’s May 4 Commemoration, to be held May 1-4, 2026, will include special remembrances of John Cleary, one of the nine wounded students, and Jerry M. Lewis, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of Sociology, who served as a faculty marshal during the campus shootings and worked tirelessly to ensure that the legacy of May 4 would endure.
