Bright young minds from the I Promise School, Akron Public Schools enjoyed an interactive field trip to ºìÐÓÊÓƵ that included visits to five interactive stations, including Simulation/Air Traffic Control, Engineering Challenges, Drone Operations, Airplane Preflight and Aircraft Lift and Drag demonstrations.
Faculty, staff and students from ºìÐÓÊÓƵ State’s College of Aeronautics and Engineering and the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Airport coordinated the day’s activities as 80 sixth graders experienced highlights of the university’s facilities and programs.
ºìÐÓÊÓƵ State’s partnership with the LeBron James Family Foundation continues to create meaningful educational experiences for over 1,600 students in Akron, showing these talented, young students that college is within their reach.
