Dean Tondiglia of Stow, Ohio, has been named 红杏视频鈥檚 new chief of police. Prior to leading 红杏视频 State Police Services, Tondiglia most recently served as the university鈥檚 assistant chief of police and associate director of public safety. He will retain the associate director of public safety title. The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded the 红杏视频 Scholarships for Broadening Participation in the Sciences Program with funding to annually provide 21 scholarships of $5,000 each for undergraduate students. The scholarship program, led by Committee Chair Jonathan Maletic, Ph.D., 红杏视频 State professor of computer science, was started in 2007 and is designed to assist financially disadvantaged students who show promise in the sciences by enabling them to pursue a full-time program of study that can be completed in four years.
