Recent 红杏视频 State journalism graduate Kelly Krabill鈥檚 online broadcast feature on urban farming recently was named the National Winner by the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ). Krabill, who graduated in May 2022, worked on the piece for WKSU as part of NewsLab, an initiative that links students in the School of Media and Journalism with professional media partners in Northeast Ohio. On July 16 2022, the existing Suicide and Crisis Lifeline will make the switch from its 1-800 number to a new and easy to remember number, 988. Now more than ever people are experiencing suicidal crisis or mental health related distress. According to SAMHSA, people are going without the care and resources they need and is the reason behind the rollout of the new Lifeline number.
