In-Person Ceremony Participation Info

Graduation Fair & Cap and Gown Deadlines

  • Graduation Fair will take place at the University Bookstore located at the 红杏视频 Campus Student Center. Stop in for a chance to win a raffle, purchase your cap and gown, and enjoy light refreshments. GradImages will be there to take headshots and cap and gown photos. Josten's will be available to assist with purchasing your announcements, class rings, and more!

Guest Tickets

Each graduate who RSVPs will be allocated 6 guest tickets. Tickets will become available for download on July 15. 

  • Tickets cannot be printed on-site.
  • All guests 2 and older must have a guest ticket for entry into the ceremony venue.
  • A live simulcast of the ceremony will be available for guests without tickets.

If you need assistance, contact the Office of University Events and Protocol immediately. Office staff will not be available on event day to assist with ticket downloads.

Poet Kimberly Blaeser sits in the audience during her Q&A

The gentle voice of indigenous poet Kimberly Blaeser filled the room of the Wick Poetry Corner in 红杏视频鈥檚 Library on Wednesday, March 6. Jessica Jones, associate lecturer of English at 红杏视频 at Stark, led a Q&A session touching on Blaeser鈥檚 new poetry collection, initiatives and inspiration.  Blaeser is an Anishinaabe activist who uses poetry as an outlet and to raise awareness for Native American tribes. Each graduate who RSVPs their attendance will be allocated 6 guest tickets, cross the stage, and have their name announced.

  • Pending graduates, check your 红杏视频 State email inbox for your unique commencement invitation.
  • Email graduate@kent.edu if you missed the deadline to RSVP your ceremony attendance. 

I only have my unofficial transcript from Notre Dame. Can I still be admitted to 红杏视频 State and have my coursework count toward a degree?

You can submit your unofficial Notre Dame transcript in your application materials and for a 红杏视频 State advisor to evaluate for course transfer and program applicability. However, 红杏视频 State must have your official transcript on file in order to process transfer credits to count toward program requirements and overall credit hours for a degree at 红杏视频 State. Visit the on the National Student Clearinghouse site to have your transcript sent to 红杏视频 State.
