Wall of Fame Banquet 2014

ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ at East Liverpool recognized the academic achievements of numerous students, esteemed alumni and supporters of ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ State during its annual Wall of Fame Honors Award Banquet.

Dr. Stephen Nameth, dean of the ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ State Columbiana County campuses, welcomed the students, esteemed guests, their families and several faculty members, while emphasizing the important role each relationship plays in measuring success at a university. He also acknowledged the many first generation college students at the event, himself included, and the importance of bridging that gap.

Commencement ceremonies were held May 8 for the ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ State Columbiana County campuses, recognizing 135 graduates from the East Liverpool and Salem campuses who earned associate and bachelor degrees, as well as certificates.

This spring, more than 1,600 graduates from ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ Regional Campuses crossed commencement stages across Northeast Ohio, marking a major milestone in their academic journeys and the beginning of their next chapters. From Lake Erie to the Ohio River, these celebrations showcased the academic achievement, perseverance and career readiness of ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ State’s newest alumni.

ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ at East Liverpool announces that Yvonne Trotter, Ph.D., is the recipient of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award and Larry Froehlich, Ph.D., is receiving the 2026 Friend of ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ at East Liverpool Award. They were recognized at the recent campus awards banquet. 

Also at the event, the East Liverpool Masonic Temple received the Community Partner Award, recognizing its support of ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ State East Liverpool students and community outreach.
