Commencement Ceremonies Held on Salem Campus

Caps and GownsCommencement ceremonies were held May 13 for the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ State Salem Campus. Dr. Steve Nameth, dean of the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ State Columbiana County Campuses, presided over the event, along with Dr. Celeste Oprean, assistant dean for the Salem Campus.

Students speakers Devyn Rothbrust and Lisa KessegThe keynote speaker was Rep. Timothy Ginter, State Representative for the 5th Ohio House District.

Student speakers included Lisa Kesseg of the Insurance Studies program and Devyn Rothbrust of the Horticulture program.

Nearly 400 degrees were awarded this semester between the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ State Salem and East Liverpool campuses.All Smiles

ºìÐÓÊÓƵ State East Liverpool Honors Trotter, Froehlich, East Liverpool Masonic Temple

ºìÐÓÊÓƵ at East Liverpool announces that Yvonne Trotter, Ph.D., is the recipient of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award and Larry Froehlich, Ph.D., is receiving the 2026 Friend of ºìÐÓÊÓƵ at East Liverpool Award. They were recognized at the recent campus awards banquet. 

Also at the event, the East Liverpool Masonic Temple received the Community Partner Award, recognizing its support of ºìÐÓÊÓƵ State East Liverpool students and community outreach.
