Dr. Asantewa Sunni-Ali’s scholarship and artistic praxis explores the intersections of theatrical and everyday performance, human agency, holistic wellness, identity and Black Power traditions. She is currently completing her first book manuscript and advances her work beyond the page through multimedia production, ethnographic documentation, and performance-based inquiry. She is the creator and executive director of Seedz of Revolution, a research-based multimedia platform and digital humanities archive through which she documents and amplifies enduring cultural practices and community-led strategies as tools for manifesting sovereign futures for African-descended and other marginalized communities.
